During my research for the Schocken Library building—a modern architectural masterpiece by Erich Mendelsohn—in preparation for my site-specific exhibition And a River Went Out of Eden, I discovered an original key cabinet. Inside were keys from the 1930s, each attached to a handmade metal key holder coated in white enamel, with handwritten labels. Like every centimeter of this building, the key holder was simple yet precise, full of intention.

I wanted to bring this object back to life, so I created this edition of enameled copper key holders. Each one is unique and handmade. One side features a multi-layered design in various colors, while the other side is blank, allowing you to write what the key is for.
